Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s privacy terms govern the query once it is sent.
If you send an email or contact message, we keep the message and the contact details needed to answer it. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure.

Pages link to the Barton County Sheriff, the MODOC offender search, Missouri Case.net, federal locators, and third-party search services. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the destination’s own privacy policy controls. This site does not set the destination’s collection or retention rules.
Advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not in Barton County Released Inmates’ own search records.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Get in Touch page to request deletion.
Your Data Choices
Subject to applicable law and the information actually held, a person may ask for a copy of personal data, request correction of an error, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. A request may require enough detail to verify the requester and locate the record. These rights concern this site’s data, not government records held under Missouri’s Sunshine Law, Chapter 610.
Changes to This Notice
This privacy notice may change as technology or site practices develop. A revised version takes effect when posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means the visitor accepts the revised notice.
